A Little Froggy Cheer

While making comments for SSW on Tuesday, I came across a blog where the crafter had made a card for an individual she'd read about whose sister has terminal lung cancer. The young lady, Lisa has set up RAKs by various generous sponsors and is asking others to make a card; a cheerful card; not a get well card to send to her sister. Click here for more details.

Paula, of Pollycraft Monday and Tales from Pollycraft, has designed a cute little frog for this purpose - she's always very generous about things like this and I just love her blog.

I just inked this little guy up with Copics and added glossy accents on the eyes - you know how frogs' eyes are always glistening. My little sentiment came to me thinking about the newest Disney rendition with the little girl and the frog who kept insisting he was a prince. She kissed him and she turned into a frog. It was a cute movie. I hope it helps.

If you feel so inclined to do so, I'm sure Jayme's heart would swell with warmth. I have lost a lot of family, including a son and though there is never any way to ease another's pain, sometimes a nice word or thought helps get them through the day.

I hope you're all having a wonderful week despite this weird weather. I thought spring was here yet we are having rain and I hear others even have snow. Still, it is a blessing. :-)
