Flower Pot Card

Hello everyone,

Happy Friday! I am enjoying myself over at Stampin' Dymonz Scrap Shack because there are so many things that I can do. Sometimes I do more things than I can keep up with - it's just so incredibly fabulous there!

This is the top of the cigar box I altered for a swap we recently had at The Scrap Shack. My partner was Helen, who is a fan of the color purple. I love this color and had fun painting the cigar box and adhering all of this fun stuff to it.

I didn't change the wood grain on the inside, being a lover of wood grain myself. But I filled it with all sorts of goodies.

I threw in some of the things Croms would find useful, including skulls and cross bows since she is a lover of the dark arts. She did a video and it was nice seeing her excitement. This was a fun swap and I've already signed up for the next one.

Come on by and see what we're all up to. It's a lot of fun at The Shack!

Irresistibly Sweet...

Hello lovely crafting bloggers,

I hope you've all had a fantastic weekend and enjoyed some time to be creative. I've been given a sweet award from a lovely lady, Dr. Sonia S V who thought my blog was irresistibly sweet.

Thank you Sonia for your kind words - you are so sweet. Sonia actually makes rather sweet creations herself - her blog is Cards, Crafts, and Kids' Projects. I don't have little ones around but I have found some rather lovely things I could do with my grandsons that would be fun! Check her blog out - you'll find something there that's irresistible too!

The Village Scraps - First Edition!

Good morning lovely bloggers!

Well, I never thought I would be published. Typically, I would either miss the deadline or I could never make something I thought was going to be picked up by the magazine. HA! This time, not only am I featured a few times in this fantastic magazine, but Tellen's Place Designs also gets an airing - yay! Thanks Stampin' Dymonz! :>)

This is an acetate candy holder that I made (King Mufasa has eaten every delicious morsel of this wonderful "Werther's Originals" with the caramel center).

If you'd like to see more of what I've created (that I didn't publish here), click here for Stampin' Dymonz Scrap Shack or here for the online edition of The Village Scraps. This magazine posts many projects from our DT on a weekly basis, so check it out - really a great team of crafting Divas!

Happy Crafting! :~)

Stepping, Stepping, Stepping...

Good morning my lovely blogger friends,

I hope you've had an incredible weekend filled with lots of fun and excitement. I've been busy working on DT projects for Stampin' Dymonz Scrap Shack - what a fun place to be. I can't tell you how many new things I've learned and been able to add to my crafty repertoire - it's just fabulous!

I learned this technique ("Pulling Pastels") from our M.O.M. online crop session that we do twice a month. Isn't it something? I am quite proud of how it came out.

I hope you have a fantastic week. Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Crafting! :~)

Christmas in July & Blog Hop Winner!

Good morning lovely bloggers,

It's time for the weekend and I hope you all are planning to relax and enjoy some really great weather, although it has been a scorcher here in California (a little cooler yesterday - only in the '80's.

Here's my first shaker card, something we made this past week at Stampin' Dymonz Scrap Shack, courtesy of our lovely Helen, aka Croms, who is the hostess of this fabulous group. It was relatively an easy card to make. I'm getting ahead of the card making season this year. Why don't you join us at Stampin' Dymonz Scrap Shack - there's so much to do!

Thanks to all who joined in for Stampin' Dymonz Creative Space 4th of July Blog Hop in honor of The Village Scraps, Dymonz online magazine. My winner of that blog hop is:

Julia Vasquez

Congratulations Julia! Please send me an e-mail or contact me via pm at The Village so that I can mail your prize to you.

Thanks for stopping by and y'all have a Happy Crafting day! :~)
