ATC's...love 'em...

Hey y'all...

I've been busy crafting...working...housework...taking care of King Mufasa...but I wanted to share with you my ATC's I made in response to Joyce's video challenge.  She mentioned that she liked to travel and my mind began churning because I love to travel and have gone to so many places.  I definitely need to start putting some of that memorabilia that I collected into a mini or something.  I did make a few ATC's for the challenge:

When I was in Casablanca seven years ago, I remember how much it reminded me of LA with the exception of the Arabic billboards.  So I had to make one for that trip.

I stopped in Paris and spent the night with an early morning flight in to Casablanca the next day.  The paper on this ATC worked perfect with the die cuts I adhered to light weight chipboard.

I took the Eiffel Tower from dimensional sticker pack and adhered it to a piece of chipboard, mounted it on foam dots and took the sign and added it to this lovely paper from Michael's.  I thought it was perfect with the painter.

I added the word "Travel" and would have loved to have had a dimensional sticker that stated "Route 66" since I have traveled on that route so often...would've been cute.

As a kid, we did a lot of traveling within the city - to fishing holes, here and there and once out of California.  We would always ask our parents, "Are we there yet???"

The one ATC I couldn't pass up...these are all die cuts from Joilee's - very 3D...the little postage piece was added to give the tourism a kick...

Loved it...ATCs make great additions to mini albums - so I'll be making more...

So...what are YOU up to these days?

Happy Crafting! :-)

Lots of lace and pretty stuff...

Good morning y'all...

You know, I love to join in on swaps but the postal costs prevents me from doing a lot of that; plus I don't have the time I used to have - work keeps me busy...but I do try to join in on some of the fun ones.  Over at Mini Album Scraps, there was one where you had to make a trinket box.  Um...first, you need to read the rules thoroughly - I didn't...so I couldn't join.  But...I did make two lovely boxes:

The flowers are Recollections except the big pink one next to the butterfly - that was made by LeeAnn, a fellow blogger from Canada.  I love the organza ribbon - goes well with the butterfly.

Peach is such a pretty color - the lace really makes it even more delightful.

You can see more from the video (and the big mistake I made on them) I made on my UTube channel.

Happy Crafting! :~)

Tickets...get your tickets....!!

Howdy y'all!

Remember this pic...and I said stay tuned...

well, I mailed the tickets and forgot to post..hahaha...and the swap at MAS for "Birthday-Themed Tickets" is over.  So here's what I sent to our hostess, Suzy:

We had to have the phrase "Happy Birthday" on the ticket.  So I stamped a bit of scribble, distressed the edges and decorated some stamped images that I adhered to chipboard so that they would be nice and firm.  I used liquid pearls, flowers, and a little of this and a little of that.

The one of the left with the pink flowers made me a little diamond dust happy, so I cut back on the other ones. <hahaha - I love glittery things>

I thought it would be cute for each "dusted" one to have a cute little envelope so it didn't get crushed; well, to hold that dust that would inevitably fall off.  For the first set, I stamped a smaller envelope and put each one in it's case.  You can check out my video to see what they look like. :-)

Happy Crafting! :~)
