Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!

If you have a sweet tooth, today is a perfect day - send those kidlets out all dressed up in spooky costumes and they're bound to come back with a bevy of candy they'll be happy to share with you!

My friend, Pam had sent me a bunch of these fantastic little envelopes - aren't they great for those little scraps to make cards with? I decorated the outside of the envelope with a glittery pumpkin die cut from K&Company and a beautiful border punched card stock piece that my Diva friend, Sandra sent me along with a bunch of other great borders punched on the prettiest papers!

I punched out a spider with my MS spider punch, added Witchy-Poo Ally from Tellen's Place Designs and called it a day!

Today is Sandra's birthday! Happy birthday Diva! She is feeling a tad better - thanks everyone for your well wishes! ;-)

Here's wishing everyone a fun, safe and Happy Halloween!!

Happy Friday!

Greetings y'all!

It's Friday - aren't you glad? It's Halloween weekend and there is going to be some fun going on all over this weekend!

This autumn card with Edward and Ally (Tellen's Place Designs) is so cute. Ally is having fun in the leaves while her brother looks on, hoping to rake them up. We're having a sale - buy one, get one free - go check out Tellen's Place!

I love the tree and the leaves that were sent to me by Diane. It really makes this card fun. The embossing is a nice addition to the background with the swirls as though the wind was blowing. Ahhhh...autumn - a beautiful time of year.

I hope you like my card. Have a super fun weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Happy Crafting! :-)

This is Ally with bubbles, another wonderful image drawn by Markus, my son, for Tellen's Place Designs. The bath tub is a free image I found some time ago from Birds Blog.

Girlfriend...

Good morning y'all!

Sweet Sunday...how sweet it is! ;~)

I have the pleasure of being in the company of a wonderful digital artist, Susan, of Susan's Crafty Chaos. Not only did she accept to be on Tellen's Place Design Team, she brings forth much in the way of crafting talent! Check out her blog - she is a digital Queen! She also designs digital papers!

image: "Sylvia" from Tellen's Place

I couldn't resist her papers - they are the most vibrant hues and I just love flowers. I love the color purple and this set was awesome - so very cool that I had to make a card! I didn't even want to cover it up - this is the kind of paper that you collage over everything to make the most beautiful gifts...hmmmm---idea...I'll print another set and do a treasure box ---with roses...oh, don't you just love inspiration?

Susan's store is chalk full of gorgeous things. She even has a fantastic sale going on - buy three or more items and get one free! Yeah, hard to resist isn't it?!

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

**ABC Challenge** - F is for flowers
**Penny's Paper Crafty Challenge** - #40 As long as it Flies
**Flutter by Wednesdays** - Have a butterfly, fairy or angel

Thanks for stopping by! Happy crafting! :-)

Sandra

Good morning everyone,

My dear sweet friend, Sandra, many of whom you all know, has taken to her bed - she can't do anything - doctor's orders! She is the sweetest person in the world and always leaving the kindest words to others. Do stop by her blog and leave her some kindness as she is in a lot of pain. I think some of you know she's had surgery earlier to help with that pain but apparently it hasn't helped. She's such a dear. She wanted to make sure I knew she would have posted her DT card for Tellen's Place -- now you know, I know she would because this woman would never let anyone down. But here's her card.

We are being sponsored by Charlene's Button Box over at Tellen's Place and the DT were each given buttons to craft with. Sandra received butterflies - isn't this gorgeous? She made the butterfly and stamped on top of it - very creative. She added stick-ons to frame the card and a lovely flourish. On the upper right tip of the wing, she placed her TPD image - a lovely fairy with wonderful gems! I really love this card - I'm a butterfly lover.

I'm offering a freebie over there and Sandra was so kind as to create two samples to help everyone get inspired. Isn't she wonderful?

Please do visit her blog, "Rose Petal Creations" and show her some love - she's really an outstanding DT member but she's also a beautiful friend. I know she touches many with her kind words. Pray that she'll get better.

Thanks so much!

Candy...

Good morning lovelies!

Don't you love when Halloween comes around? The weather becomes crisp and cool and you have to bring out the blankets to keep warm or put a log on the fire? Well, what I am loving is all the candy! *heehee*

Candy corn was my favorite but I soon slithered over to the harvest mix (still like candy corn); a lovely treat. So are these wonderful little characters from Heather's shop. I had inked up the Corn family in September waiting for Halloween to come to use them. Aren't they adorable? I believe Heather has new candy corn images - check out her blog and see her latest creation.

I hope you're all having a wonderful week!

Happy Crafting! :-)

Egreth

Hello there everyone,

With the air being that of Halloween, Tellen's Place is having a fantastic challenge involving this fun activity, "Trick or Treat" - it's all about Halloween, isn't it?

This is an envelope that I sealed closed and used a circle punch to make the half-circle opening. My friend, Essence, had sent me a bunch of these lovely envelopes in the spring and I wanted to make more cards with it. With this one, I used my MS iron gate border punch, that lovely MS spider punch and SU rub-ons.

Yikes, look at the dark and creepy creature peeking out at you! Oh, it's just Egreth, one of my son, Markus' wonderful dark creations. There's more of these at the store - check 'em out.

If you enter your Halloween card into the challenge at Tellen's Place, you have a chance to win your choice of some of these fun hand drawn images! You know what they say - "Ghouls just want to have fun!" (SU rub-on - how cool, huh?)

I'll be entering this ghoul into the following challenges:

**Bee Crafty** - Challenge 40, Halloween
**Easy Craft Projects** - Challenge 23 - Halloween
**Fussy and Fancy Friday** - Challenge 21 - Halloween
**Stampin' for the Weekend** - Challenge49 - Halloween/Fall
**Moving along with the Times** - Challenge 68 - Halloween
**The Creative Cottage** - Challenge 25 - Halloween
**Crafts and Me** - Challenge 15 - Halloween
**Pear Tree Designs** - Challenge 22 - Free for All
**Scrapping with I did it Creations** - Challenge 9 - Halloween or other Holiday
**Magical Monday** - Challenge 7 - Halloween

Thanks for stopping by. Happy Crafting! ;~)

Trick or Treat!

Good morning lovely bloggers!

I am struggling to keep up these days; have gotten behind in my blogging duties - so sorry but I will make it around to everyone shortly!

Tellen's Place is having a wonderful challenge today - perfect for Halloween:

TRICK OR TREAT!

This is Spidy Ally, a new image - isn't she cute in her spider costume? I added stickles to the MS spider punches - don't they look creepy? The spider web is a rub-on from my SU! Demonstrator, Lisa! She's another crafty friend who is always encouraging me too! :-) She has a cool hostess program and I love the gifts she sends with the product - yum, yum!

I love my MS spider punch...well, they really creep me out but aren't they cool on a card? I found the stamp at Michael's for a dollar. The sentiment and little spiders are rub-ons I received from Lisa!

My son, Markus, has been busy cranking out a zillion images - more than I can list up at the store! Earlier, Tellen's Place show cased a bunch of new images and I wanted to show you my version of the Mummy! I added glossy accents to the eyes to give it that watery effect and really deepen the red eyes.

Look at that tree - isn't it gorgeous? My friend, Diane (1 Card Creator) sent that to me along with a bunch of other cool die cuts and the leaves! I was dying to use it - so glad she sent me more than one tree! See that border? Yes, those are hearts - from my friend, Sandra (Rose Petal Creations) in the UK and a Tellen's Place Diva Designer! I am hooked on those strips - they really add texture and frame the card in a really delightful way. The orange strip is a MS iron gate border punch that she sent me too. I know...I have some really awesome friends - they are very giving and always encouraging me! ;-) Check out their blogs - they're super crafty, too!

I hope you enjoyed these - there are more at my Etsy store and we would love it if you could join in on the challenge; it's a lot of fun over there! We have a new member - Susan (Susan's Crafty Chaos) and she's awesome with digital - check us out! ;-)

Good morning everyone,

I am always impressed when someone is so kind as to think of me and surprise me with wonderful things that warm my heart. Monica has done this. I've just met her and she has already given me a lovely blog award and this second time, she passed a new one on to me and fourteen other ladies. Isn't that so thoughtful of her? Monica has a lovely blog, "Handmade Cards with love" and makes the most beautiful flowers and crafty cards!

I love that these awards are passed on from one lovely blogger to the next as it reminds us of the lovely friendships we've made across the miles. Thank you Monica for thinking of me and making me smile.

4. She brings sunshine into everyone's day with her beautifully encouraging comments.
5. She is warm, genuine and shows she cares.

The Bewitching Hour...

Good morning everyone!

October brings about a lot of fun for me - the weather changes to a cool crisp autumn (it's struggling to get there here in California; the hot summer is still lingering since most of the summer was cool) and Halloween. It is the one time that I enjoy creepy, ghoulish images!

My talented son draws images for Tellen's Place, my challenge blog. Right now, we are featuring our release of Halloween images and the DT Divas have created some really cool designs of these awesome images. He did one of each designer's likeness based on their photo that is on the blog (we'll show case those soon). This is me when I had my hair braided. He knows I love being a witch, flying on my broom, except lately, my broom has been used for sweeping. But it's the bewitching hour! Time to put that apron away and fly high on my broom, sweeping through the sky and zapping all those wicked little trick-or-treaters. Ahhhhhhhhhahahahahahahahahaha.................
