Hey y'all,

Here's another Friday and I'm off today so this is a GOOD day! Hope you're having a fantastic Friday as well!  I joined a challenge at Creating the Crafty Life where we had to follow a color challenge:

There were seven of us and the three that posted already actually used the sunflower in their project; how cool is that?

This is a library pocket card.  I simply added a bow to the outside of the pocket.  I took a flower apart and added a second layer to give it the look of a sunflower.  The thing is, my center needed to be larger, but it's okay - I'm still with the color scheme.

The library card was covered with designer paper, sunflower embellishment from Recollections, grass I ade my cutting strips and curling them downward.  I added a scalloped oval and sentiment.

Here's the back of the library card.  I made a topper to to hide the info.  Even with the lines, it's a nice card; something you can do with the library card and pocket besides using in a mini.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

Happy crafting! :~)

This is cute. I have seen library cards mentioned before on American blogs but we don't have them here.
Ideal for popping in your shopping bag. hugs Mrs A.

Hi Terry, hope you're having a wonderful weekend! I love this little library card (not heard of them before) its so cute and such a cheery design with the sunflower theme. The faux grass is very cleverly done and the ribbon bow is lush...I'm always attracted to satin ribbon, I think its because its shiny lol! :) Donna ♥ x

PS: Thanks again for the love you left over at mine...mwaaah x

Just lovely Terry, the sunflowers are smiling away just as sweet as your heart. The small centre looks just as beautiful.
Thanks for the visits, I have been a bit poorly but am recovering. I had a bad bout of fever, cough, diarrhea, headache all together. Thanks for asking how I was.
I hope you and Mustafa are fine.
I met a lady from Morocco and she was so nice. We became friends instantly, you know.

I have made a card with your goodies which I will post soon.

Love always,
Monica

Hi, Terry! Dropped in to say hi but sorry I missed you! Hope you're resting!!!

Glad I came over because here I was thinking I was already a follower and noticed I'd never signed up to follow you -- how absent minded of me... lol!!! Of course I had to remedy that -- FAST!!!

Hugs, sweetie!
