Ready for the weekend....

Good morning everyone,

I'm looking at the calendar and this month marks my one year anniversary of blogging. I'm pretty excited about it because it allows me to look back on when I first started making cards back in 1999 and how I've progressed to date.

I love flowers and this is a free image I found...somewhere. UPDATE: This image is by Christine Dark the Sketching Stamper --- Thanks Donna! In the early days of discovering free images, I neglected to keep a note of where that resource was. I've since saved the image with the artists' name for future reference. This card is quite simple because I wanted the image to have full view. I've used Crystal Effects from Stampin' Up! on the vase so it looks like glass. I used Diamond Dust on the flowers. A little bird suggested I enter a challenge and I found a few more:

My blog anniversary is August 27th and I am joining the countless numbers of other bloggers celebrating this monumental occasion by giving away blog candy. (Teehee) Another reason for giving away blog candy is to say thank you to all of you who have constantly shared your enthusiasm and left comments that have so inspired me.
