Bling it on!

Howdy y'all!

This week, Glue, Scissors, Paper has a fun challenge for us and the design team made it a swap for us. We all had to do the challenge, which was to make a charm with bling. We made enough for everyone in the swap and you should see how gorgeous they turned out!

I have little experience in making charms and usually buy them to add to the mini's I swap. However, this time, I had to make one, so I went to Michael's and bought a few items. This can get expensive, so I kept it all generic. As you can see, the tools are minimal and we had a size limit on the charm. Keep in mind, I kept this very simple.

I love butterflies and some of the beads were iridescent, which gave way to "bling" in the light. What do you think? Pretty cool for simplicity, eh?

I hope you like them. Please stop by Glue, Scissors, Paper when you get a chance. The design team has made a bunch of gorgeous charms to inspire you to join in the challenge. I can't wait to see them in real life once they are mailed to us - how cool! :-) I love swaps!

Thanks for stopping by. Have a beautiful day and Happy Crafting! ;~)

I love your charms..I love the butterflies too! My daughters have got me making jewelry here resently. It is an expensive hobby. I haven't done very much. Just a few earrings and watches. I just finished a necklace tonight that I am very proud of. Lots of fun though, isn't it!
