Happy 4th of July!

Happy Independence Day!

Today promises to be a beautiful day - my little brother is coming over to BBQ but we're having sandwiches because next weekend is our annual family picnic and I can't do BBQ again. Besides, he just wants to "hang out" with King Mufasa and play dominoes. I'll be crafting, not slaving away over a hot stove...hahahaha (well, after I do a little house cleaning)!

Isn't this cute? I received this in a swap that I did last month at Swap-bot. It was a matchbook swap and the pattern was given to us but I didn't realize it was a "mini" matchbook - so I created a larger template (my partner was thrilled). Now I need to make this little mini.

Inside were brads and other little goodies like this Uncle Sam foam die. It's so cute I couldn't use it (silly of me, isn't it?).

Look how my partner decorated the inside, with a flag - too cute! Sorry that I have the box upside down...duh! :-) I loved this little matchbook. I'll make the mini and post the template at a later date. For now, have a Happy 4th of July! Be safe!
