It's time for a Teddy Bear Purse

Good morning y'all:

Don't you love finding a simple project that is easy to make and doesn't take you all day to make? I'm a simplistic person to the max! I found this pattern on the computer (can't even remember the source...ugh, I hate when I don't note that when saving the pattern but that was when I first started blogging). Anyway, the extra plus is that this pattern can be printed on any colored card stock.

Of course, you can always cut a master template and use it to cut on other card stock.

It's a simple pattern - you simply cut on the lines. The dotted lines are for scoring.

The red double sided sticky tape works best as it will hold the pieces together better than your typical adhesive runner.

If you're familiar with making boxes, it is easy to figure out where to adhere the tape.

It is even easier to see how it all comes together.

Isn't it too cute? The bear is a button (I snipped off the loop in the back of it) that I adhered to the front to keep the top flap closed. It has enough room to put a few pieces of chocolate in it and give to a friend. *smile* Wouldn't that brighten someone's day?

Blogger doesn't allow attachments so if you'd like this template (it's a .pdf file), just send me an email (terryouboub@yahoo.com) and I'll be happy to share. I think it might be a Stampin' Up! file someone sent me last year that I never used.

Happy Crafting! ;-)

Hi Terry, I am finally back in town. I had such a great time and really didn't want to come home. I am back at work and trying to catch up on things. I looked at your tutorial yesterday but didn't have time to comment. I sure like the purse. It is super cute. I really love templates like these. They make such fun gifts.
