A little Cutie...

Happy Friday!

The weekend is here, y'all! I have a cute little card to share...it's a lovely Pollycraft image and you know how I love teddy bears! I won a bunch of these gorgeous images - how lucky am I?

I made a simple card that I just love - everything seemed to go together so well! The organza ribbon - the bling butterfly and gems and look how cute this little bear, Kiki, is.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

**Crafty Catz Weekly** -- "Animals"
**Easy Craft Projects** -- "Girly Theme"

With summer coming to an end, I hope you have had a blast or went on a super vacation...just had some fun and ready to welcome school. I don't have kids so YAY!!! :-) I love those little crumb snatchers. :~)

Happy Crafting!

Something...

Well, here's Monday looking at you - sun hiding behind the clouds making a sort of murky day; but still a day to create a card, right?

Pollycraft Monday is one of the first blogs I won something on and I was so delighted to have a digital image that I used the image on just about everything. I love Paula's images and had to take a break from coloring "Cookie Ally" and "Sophie" for the Las Vegas Rubber Stamp Expo. Michelle and I are making ATC's to pass out and I have 100 of them to finish coloring - should've started this some time ago, huh? I'll show you once I'm done with them.

So at the Pollycraft Monday challenge, they are looking for your distressing. This is the card I'm entering into this challenge. I've gotten the hang of that little technique and though I don't do a LOT of it, it's enough to put on a card and brighten up some of the stark white spaces we hate to see.

This is a fun challenge - why not take a look and join in. The DT has made a nice array of beautifully designed cards to help inspire you.

Have a craftastic day! ;~)

No Cards Allowed

Uh-oh...no cards allowed. Talk about being out of a comfort zone! Well, Pollycraft Monday Challenge invites you to a challenge where you can do anything except a card. How delicious does that sound? Well, check out what the DT made and you'll be uber excited and inspired!

I follow Stampin Inspirations by Maria and she is always creating something new and providing a tutorial! This is one in which the details are great! The thing is, she is super talented and she puts more effort into what she did than I did. She consistently makes the most beautiful crafts. My box turned out cute though - simple, but cute.

I won't tell you I had to do the top three times because me and 7/8s just don't get along! :)

I put Edward (Tellen Designs) on the front because the sides have stockings - isn't that cute?

I finally got the top right, punched it with MS lace and tied ribbons on the corners where my other papers didn't quite meet - a nice way to hide mistakes, eh? :D Shhh...Don't tell anyone!

Snowflakes, Sparkle, Spots, Stripes, Swirls

What a beautiful Monday this has turned out to be. Typically, I check the reader for the blogs I follow to see who has made what and what challenges are out there. A LOT of times, I just look because sometimes my crafty brain cells are just not up to par and sometimes the card has to be sent to that special file (trash bin). But today, I can get into another challenge - that wasn't easy, by the way.

Pollycraft Monday has a great design team that would have no problem with the challenges and always manages to put out some delightful cards to sample and inspire you. Usually, I just go ooh-ahh...and hope to one day create something spectacular like theirs.

Today is not that day. My card isn't spectacular but it did meet all five parts of the challenge: snowflakes, sparkle, spots, stripes, and swirls. My paper just so happened to have snowflakes on it, a little sparkle, some spots; so I added more sparkle to the swirls; and added a strip of striped paper. My little penguin is so cute, all tangled up in the lights. Heehee...brrrrr...baby, it's cold outside!!
