Two Patterned Papers

Hello everyone,

This week, Tellen's Place has a fun challenge: Two patterned papers. How easy is that?

So, I had to "get busy" for the lack thereof at Tellen's Place (one designer is out because of her computer, another is out due to vacation and...well, you know how it is when you have to fill an empty space).

This memory box was made just like the other one (featured on Challenger's Delight). I used two (or more) patterned K&Company papers. I added lace, ribbon and a TD image - this fairy is just too cute. I made the roses and added a butterfly (found this at Michael's).

I actually did similar notecards for Glue, Scissors, Paper challenge where we could only use five products. Here, I just made simple notecards to use when I join in on swaps - quick cards that are cute and handmade and envelopes using "The Enveloper" from "The Ultimate Companion." This is a great tool to use; especially when you have scraps of paper (remember my organizing posts about 6 x 6 papers and ATC papers...). I used the 6 x 6 paper, cut down to 5 1/2" to make the envelope. I also used the 6 x 6 paper to cut in half to make the card - easy as pie! :-)

This card is one I love because of the paper. I am a paper fiend - just love patterned papers. This paper is from Stampin' Up! I am in the Hostess program courtesy of my fabulous Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Lisa Lisa. This program is a great way to slowly buy the thins on your wish list and we all have one for Stampin' Up products, I bet! I love their papers; everything is always well coordinated (ribbons, inks, etc.). This ribbon was from a swap (Life on the Scrap Beach) and the buttons and jute from my stash.

Do stop by Tellen's Place and join the challenge if you have time. We are close to 200 followers and a lot of prizes will be given (not just the two posted). So check it out! :-)

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Terry you work is amazing! The memory box and cards for the Take 5challenge are simply beautiful. You definitely know how to think outside the box and of course I could spot the Stampin' Up Paper right away. Outstanding!
